Not a 'review', but...can you advise...?!

Post by IOM Nigel »

I've 'heard' that 'O Forno de Fraser' is re-opening - is that right, .....or was it just a beautiful dream?!

Please advise; we've just had eleven lovely days in Carve - and there's more to follow on Christmas Eve....( my brown girl (in the ring) - whatever THAT means - my other half, Jackie, has already built up the Christmas tree, ready for our arrival on Christmas Eve.....

Anyway, enough nonsense - please could someone advise if Fraser's pad is re-opening? - PLEASE?!

Many thanks

from

'Isle of Man Nige' (no relation to Mr Mansell - even though I HAVE met him!)

Best wishes to all of you in Carvo...

Thanks, Widge

We've tried the 'new' Indian place three or four times, and I have to say it was very dissappointing - I've been told that it is now closing, and it was suggested to me that Fraser and Lynn were going to re-open - (I would doubt it, somehow, but in my opinion, that would be great news!)

Thanks, anyway....

It looked very closed when we went by it and no answer on the phone either....

Many thanks, Gary - (I guess I won't 'hold my breath', then.....!)

Shame....as we always thought 'O Forno de Fraser' was a nice place - but I guess they both deserve some very well-deserved rest!

Thanks again

'O Forno de Fraser' is back in business - pizzas taste as good as ever.

Thank you, friends - that's GREAT news!

We're delighted about that - so, see you folks at Christmas, perhaps - and in the meantime, carry on enjoying the lovely weather you're having.....!

Went here last night and I'm glad to say the pizzas are as good as ever (as was the garlic bread with cheese). The restaurant is tiny but that just adds to its charm, and Linda is a lovely host. Will be back for dinner or take-away very soon.
