Has anybody been to Barnards lately? If so, what was it like?

I used to go there quite frequently but stopped a couple of years ago as I got fed up with their odd and limited menu and also felt it was getting expensive for what they served. Geraldine is a great host and the restaurant comfortable enough but I found the menu let them down. Looking on their web site I'm not sure anything has changed but I'd love to hear some current feedback.
