Hi, would really like to visit the restaurant this year - can anyone please tell me how we get there? We have been coming to CVO for the last 10 years so know areas pretty - could you direct from top of restauarant Hill as a starting point? Thanks

I'll have a go:

From top of Restaurant hill, head down to square and turn right onto the Out road.
As you leave CVO (just after where the in/out roads join) turn left up the windy road to Solfeiras.
Top of the hill turn right and go straight on
- past L'Orange on your right
- past Monte Santo on your left
- straight across at the monument
- road bends to the left, and eventually hits a small roundabout. Turn Right to Sesmerais
Short while on another roundabout with water tower on your right, Turn Left through Sesmerais
Keep going, keep going, keep going towards Feragudo
UNTIL the road does a huge dip down, but do not go up.
At bottom of dip is turning to the left (signposted to Caneiros beach)
Drive to end of this road, park, and enjoy !

You have missed a roundabout Richard. After Sesmarias there is another one with both exits going to Ferragudo.

Take the second exit following the coast until you get to the dip in the road
