We had dinner at The Village Inn at Carregação have not been able to get back there for a while, we were so pleased to find it just as lovely, Kath is so welcoming and the food is still great wish we could get there more often. Recommend highly.

I see you've had a lot of visits but no replies for some reason. I have to agree with you that the Village Inn is one of the best restaurants within reach of Carvoeiro. Always a great atmosphere and great food and Kath is always lovely. Maybe we should keep quiet about it ?

Oh dear I am so sorry to have to disagree but we went here last year and to be honest I was not impressed at all, yes it was quirky and different but the food was average and the service was very slow, didn't rate this place at all, I won't be going back that is for sure.

I must go along with LJ - The hostess is charming, the place is quirky, but the food very ordinary and the symphony of pinging microwave ovens in the background did not inspire.
