Can anyone help with the names of:

1. The Chinese near the top of Restaurant hill on the left going up. ?
2. The one in Lagoa in the pedestrain precinct ?

... and whether or not you can answer the above two questions, what are your views on which is best ?

The one in Lagoa gets my vote Richard, and Lesley Jean always knows the name of it, I on the other hand always forget.

8400 LAGOA
Tel: 282 359121
2. The one in Lagoa in the pedestrain precinct ?
Could it be this one:

Many thanks Peter.
I just knew somehow that you would find the answer, although you did answer with questions to which I do not know the anwers :?
I am going to assume you're right though.

And thanks for your vote Tricky - I suspect you'll be in the majority there.

Chineese Restaurants

Hi e-richard we have eaten many times at the Jardim Sul in Lagoa. Every dish has been great. For a change occasionally we go to the one at the top of the hill in CVO and it is a little different but very good also. Prices about the same. Try them both and you decide. Will be anxious to hear your favourite. Jan :D

 Yep I would definitely go with the one in Lagoa, Jardim do Sul, great food and wonderful service. The ones in Carvoeiro are good too but somehow this one stands out.

Well, we can but hope

Seriously, thanks to all for answering. I am not a great Chinese food aficionado, and was asking on behalf of a guest of mine. I pointed them to this site and that seems to have been the right thing to do :)

By the way, MC, I did check the FAQ before posting the question, and its a very useful resource, so please do stick around - for a little longer anyway.

Richard - just DON'T go to the one with the balcony at the bottom of the hill - I don't think it will be too close to your usual standard
