Mitch's/Medina
thanks to all for your comments - I have heard them and appreciate the time people take to give their feedback. We will be roadtesting some moroccan variations in the next few days and will see how they go with a view to making changes to the menu.
We have already made a couple of changes to the platter - the original idea was for people to have the platter to try the different sauces and salads before ordering their main courses - that'll be why there are duplications...the platter has ended up as our most popluar starter attracting many compliments, despite some recent criticisms.
I do appreciate that people have diverse tastes and preferences and try to satisfy as many people as possible - I also know I am unlikely to satisfy everybody all of the time, however, I always did like a challenge !!
bon appetite, wherever you may eat

I, and I am sure most forum members, appreciate that you, unlike O Botico and the MC Indian read and actually take on board comments which in general are constructive.
In turn why do you not (doing as you told us - "experimenting on the locals in the quieter winter months"), advertise your "experimental" meals here.
Something different is required - perhaps bribing us with free wine and entertainment - belly dancers, snake charmers, fire-eaters, magicians etc. 'a la Marrakesch' would be a good idea to get a full house on midweek evenings in the November - March period.

Called in at the end of last week for a test drive, and really noticed a substantial improvement since my previous experiences. All 4 at our table had different dishes and each was very good.PJ wrote:..We will be roadtesting some moroccan variations in the next few days and will see how they go with a view to making changes to the menu. ...
