A Gale
Just heard that A Gale has new owners. The guy is a chef and his wife has lots of previous restaurant experience and is running the floor. My sis went last week and it was lovely and they were made very welcome.....
I' m looking forward to having dinner there at Easter.

A Galé
Ate there on Monday evening. Very good and reasonable prices.
A Gale
Yes, new owner at A Gale but business as usual. Really great service, the staff are the same and just as friendly as ever. We always eat here several times when we're over and are never disappointed with the quality of the food or the reasonable prices.

A Gale is great.
We have a routine. Straight off the evening flight from Gatwick and straight to AGale for our late supper.
Whenever we arrive, we get a huge welcome from Luis, a really good meal and a feeling that we have arrived home after being away for far too long!
The food is always good without being spectacular. Excellent steaks and prawns, and the housewine is good.
Highly recommended

We ate there on Sunday evening. The bread was warm, the garlic butter was delicious, the piri piri was excellent and the Sangria was very tasty. My dessert was also excellent. And the price was fantastic! Highly recommend this restaurant - we will definitely be back. The staff were friendly and efficient. We nearly ate there in Saturday night, but when we went in all we could smell was TCP which was really off putting, so went elsewhere. I wonder whether it was a diner that had put loads of TCP on as the smell had totally disappeared by the next night.

We have just come back from Carvoeiro, and in a fortnight ate 3 times at A Gale.
The quality of the food is consistantly good. The service friendly and efficient.
The new manager, Carla, and the chef who is her husband, have taken over what we always felt was a good restaurant , and if anything , improved it.
We visit many rstaurants whilst over there, some with better food and more expensive (ie Ella & Ella), but A Gale is always the reliable "staple", and is now our regular first port of call when we arrive. We go into A Gale, open that bottle of BSE, and know we are "home".
