 It has a very good location, but is quiet small, honestly? I think it is too much money, have to bring the price down I think.

that's a mad price, it would a very very long time investment, does anyone got 600.000 euros to spare?
i would rather buy 2 or 3 villas with that money and rent them in the summer.

Tapas

Post by The Skeftons »

Just back from Carvoeiro (first visit to Algarve and will definitely return to Carvoeiro again!!!!) and noticed the the Tapas Bar on the beach was all closed up, only just read this part of the site and realised it was up for sale. I would say it still is - doesn't look like anything has happened to it (although hard for me to tell) but there were still chairs on the balcony etc... Would seem like a good purchase if someone wanted to set up a nice little restaurant. If I were to buy it I would go for quite a small menu (for an example look at Elle & Ella) but using "cheaper" dishes so that the prices are in competition to some of the other restaurants. A bit of healthy competition is good and not everyone wants to pay 30+ Euro's when eating out! Aim at the lower end of the market but still provide good quality food (Sardines for lunch, Fish Kebabs with rice and veg for dinner.......)

Good luck whoever buys it - if marketed right it would be a real winner!
