New favourite place, good Italian food near pestana Viking. Above the beach, nice sea view, kiddie pool and adult pool, Dean Martin on cd in the background. Perfect

The menu card looks interesting and I have seen some recommendations for this restaurant. In fact, we haven't tried it yet. But we know the lovely place: It's the former "Casa d'Italia" (where we spent many times in the late 90's while being on holiday at 'Albergaria de Nossa Senhora da Rocha), and which has moved some streets towards "Intermarché" a few years ago. Perhaps we give it a try the next time...

Might be changing my mind. Went again today, still nice but loads more people by the pool. Service still excellent but probably because no one was eating. Had dish of the day which was scallops on a bed of black tagliatelli and tomato sauce, very nice but just 3 scallops. 24 euros and cheapest wine 18 euros. 3 beers, bottle of wine, water, anti pasta cold meats, brochette cover, iPad won't let me type correct spelling, 6 nz mussels 81 euros plus tip. Too much. No solo Agua remains my favourite summer lunch time place.
