Kimmy I hope you picked up my V mail I left.....both of us in bed for 2 days with the man flu so are sorry we couldnt make it,we looked in yesterday while out for fresh air and it sure looked from the mess like you had a fab time!

Thanks for a great night we all really enjoyed it, the food was lovely, Disco great, and a really friendly bunch of people, and our evening in Ele and Ela on Thursday ( we were delayed so had a few extra nights ) Thanks again and look forward to being back in 4 weeks. Joanne, Pete and Girls xxxxx

Disappointed with our meal at Taste this week. No seafood available. This ruled out one third of the menu. Specials board advertised 5 dishes - 4 of which were fish and not available. This very much limited our options. Nice restaurant, good ambience but limited choice on our visit. Dessert - limited options and very disappointing - fruit skewer at €5 for 4 pieces of fruit a tad expensive.

we went to taste yesterday, with the 4 of us and had a fabulous meal. We had filled crab out of the oven, sesame covered halibut, stir-fry vegetables, the wrap with cicken, and a few other dishes that where very tastie aswell.they had nice music on and the house wine is really,really nice for the price.It was a nice evening for all of us and we will be going back one of these days!

Sorry you had a bad experience, we are over next week, so will be going in, big group of us so will let you no how we get on, hope it just a one of as one of our fav places.

We have been before and really enjoyed it. The reason I was disappointed this time was due to there being no seafood available. Taste promotes seafood as a speciality. With this off the menu our options were pretty limited. I would expect the full menu to be available on a Friday evening.

Well had a really great meal again, full Menu, great price, great service, and not overpriced, there was 11 of us and we all agreed it was great, I have to admit myself and friend went in last year with our Children and there was a lot of stuf missing, but only happend the once.

7 of us had great time in Taste last Tuesday, think you need to go and relax there not expect it all rushed the idea is to have a few drinks and pick for an hour or so, service very nice and Kim the owner is lovely. If you want to sit outside now it is getting warmer suggest you book as there are not a lot of outside spaces.

Also there last week and had a brilliant meal, some people seem to want to eat in a rush, this is not the place eat.
Relax and Taste the food and wine.
Enjoy the environment, you could not get better in Cavoeiro.

Gave Taste another chance this week and glad we did - the food was tremendous. Very generous portions and fantastic variety. My wife is vegetarian so choice for her in restos is often limited. Fairly good selection of veggie options in Taste however one of the items she ordered from veggie section had chicken in it! That aside, we had a fantastic meal and the atmosphere in Taste is hard to beat. Will be back.
