Hiya you two,
Looking forward to a meet up.
Are any of the pools there at Algar Seco heated.
I have to go up to the Tivoli hotel and its ok but a bit dingy inside.
I love Algar Seco and the boneca down in the grotto for a romantic special dinner, so if a pool is heated, thats me settled for a day whilst he goes off for a round of golf .

The big pool was ok to swim in last week, but the one we prefer is the smaller of the adult pools on the left as you come into the Algar Seco site off the road. It has a cover which keep in the heat during the night. It was lovely and the one we tend to splash around in. We tend to use the pool facilities about twice a week on average. If you go to reception they will give you a ticket with towels being provided for you at the pool side restaurant. They will not accept outside day trippers from 1st July to 15th Sept unfortunatley as that is their high season.
I have heard though that if you have lunch there you can have a dip in the pool but did not ask about that when we were there last week.

I always have a trip or two to boneca whenever i am over and have never left unhappy! Good food, scenery and staff ... not to mention wine! Will be sure to pay a visit when over in few weeks!
