Hi , we also spent new years eve at Columbo's, and I agree with you totally, mind you though, the service and the food is of the same quality all year round, which is one of the reasons we go back time after time. Which table were you sat at, we were the one in the corner who struggled every time we needed to get out.

We have had lunch in there and it was average, after all the comments we tried and we were ignored as the owner and staff were watching the football....I hate Football but the other 4 with me do not and they were shocked that we wer all ignored so much, will never go back food wasnt that good and service was awful and we have a place and go every 5 to 6 weeks for the last 20 years....

It's amazing how different peoples' experience of the same place can be, we have never had an indifferent meal there let alone a bad one, & the service has always been excellent. I'm sorry Joanne & her friends didn't enjoy their meal, we've never eaten lunch in Columbo's, maybe it's different during the day.

We've eaten in Colombos 3 or 4 times over the past few years, and I'm afraid we've never been over-impressed - it always seems quite expensive for what you get, and I agree the service is bit hit and miss.

It's not somewhere I hurry back to

We have eaten there lunch and evening, the football experience was in the evening, think the worse bit was it was Feb and the Village was like a Ghost Town so you think they would be exrta nice....We may as well have not been there.....Sorry and I have said before we all have different tastes, but you do expect the Waiters to serve you and not watch the TV.....
