I second this recommendation - good food, especially of the pizza/pasta kind, good service (at least it is in the winter when I go), nice comfy restaurant. It is on the left hand side of the road to Rocha Brava just above Centeanes Beach.

The Mona Lisa is more or less my local restaurant, but the garlic bread, not withstanding, have never really rated it.
Cant put my finger on why....just never presses any buttons, and we love Italian food.
Shame really.........

Just bumping this thread as we have just enjoyed another few meals with the great team at La Mona Lisa. Matt was his ever irrepressible self providing much laughter, along with Antonio, and Dave who is new this year.

The food was great as usual and my favourite this time was the four cheese gniocchi. mmmm. The real pizzas are always a joy to eat.

We hope to be back next year for more of the same - great food, good company, chat, and much laughter - that's what it's all about, isn't it!

Only disappointment - the truck driver / petrol problems are worse in Italy and they had run out of my favourite Primitivo Di Puglia, though a suitable alternative was available.

We wish the guys all the best for the season.

Casanova and Mozart were talking in a pub.

Casanova: I don't know what all the fuss is about that Lisa Gherardini !

Mozart: Nien! She's no oil painting.

We went there last week. Very friendly place. The pizzas are fairly good but not outstanding. Certainly freshly made and the base is excellent, but the toppings are a bit stingy. Overall we might go back but not often.
