Looking for a nice restaurant to eat at for my hubbie's 40th

Post by janesexton1873 »

My family and I are visiting carvoeiro for the first time next month and it is my husband's 40th Brithday while we are there and was wondering if someone could recommend a really nice restaurant for us to eat at. :)

On the basis that I believe the food standard has gone up to it's old level I'd say Boteco for the views.

Bella Vita would be my choice, but I am biased because I'm addicted to pasta.

In the village it's definately Elle&Ella, but there are some nice places in Porches and Silves.

You're too cruel BW.I always get good portions there and the food wasn't bad either 8)
I hear a certain other person takes sandwiches up there and sits on the rocks - is that tight or what?

Hi Jane

There are many good restaurants as you will see when you get there, my advice is to have a look around eat at some of the recommended ones and make your own mind up. Most of the ones I have been in have been great for a couple, family or a party.
I will say, I took my husband there for the first time for his 40th and fell in love with the place immediately.
We are also over there next month and we will be eating in Colombos on 12th, if you are there, we will see you.

Bella Vita, wonderful menu, excellent service. I like Ele e Ela but I think Bella Vita knocks spots off it also Ele e Ela can be a bit cramped depending on how many of you are in your party.
