AEA to debate "Leglisation of Touristic Properties".
The Business Association of Almancil (AEA) is to promote the production of a session of clarification and information about the "Legalisation of Touristic Properties".
The session will take place on Friday 17th February at 17.00hrs, in the head office of the Association.
Participating in the meeting will be representatives from the Municipal Council of Loulé, the Região Turismo of the Algarve and the Director General of Tourism.
Representing the AEA is Architect Jaime Coutinho. According to the Association, "the objective is, essentially, to debate the subject in cause and to find ways of helping our associates in the legalisation of touristic properties".

Meeting postponed to 21st February in Auditorium of Vale do Lobo
The session of clarification and information about the "Legalisation of Touristic Properties", promoted by the Almancil Business Association (AEA), has been postponed to next Tuesday, 21st February, starting at 10.30 hrs, in the Auditorium of Vale do Lobo.
Inicially, the session was scheduled for today, Friday 17th February, at 17.00hrs, in the headquarters of the Association.
It is noted that the Inspector-General of Economic Activities obliges touristic properties to have a licence for touristic use, issued under the terms of the Decreto-Lei (Decree Law) Nº 55/2002, of 11th March, subject to applicable fines, whether of the owner of the property or the promoting agent for the rental of the property.
Present at the meeting will be representatives of the Municipal Council of Loulé, the Regional Tourist Board of Algarve and the Director General of Tourism.
Representing the AEA as moderator will be Architect Jaime Coutinho, a member of the Consulting Committe of the AEA.
According to the Association, "the objective is, essentially, to debate the matter in hand and find ways of supporting our associates in the legalisation of touristic properties".

This matter has been postponed to be discussed some time during March.
I have been reading various articles about this and it is obvious many people are concerned about the way this law leaves short time to anyone to sort it out, etc.
