marble worktops

Hi!
Sorry folkes, another question!!
Does anybody know whether marble worktops can be refurbished in position? The marble is now about 20 years old and has lost it's lustre! The work top is very well built into the wall and to remove it would be a pain. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Typed restoring marble worktops into Google and quite a few sites came up. Seems it can be done?

I know they can be re-polished again, some kitchen suppliers do this or know someone who does it.
