Bless the tolls

Post by pato »

Say all the businesses on the N125, I'll bet they're delighted with the increase in traffic volume since tolls were introduced. they must have suffered a lot when the motorway was completed, good luck to them. :)

Contrary to popular belief, since the introduction of the tolls, the businesses on the 125 haven't seen any increase in trade. There have actually been closures of businesses on the 125!

The closure of business on the 125 has nothing to do with the tolls its the economy nothing more ,nothing less.
However maybe the " layby ladies " will have seen more business .

It's to do with the motoway! the demise started then when the regular 125 traffic moved to the motorway, the tolls will make the 125 a viable alternative route again, by the way, the demise happened years ago when the Portuguese and the Algarve in particular, economy was bouyant.
