PT promotions
I have had a €5 discount on line rental and free Portuguese calls at any time since April 2010 thus paying approx. €10 instead of approx. €15. The normal was free off peak calls but they made a mistake and I got free Portuguese calls at any time.
This month the discount has been withdrawn and on inquiring at a PT shop was informed they could no longer give promotions and I would have to telephone 16200.
The only promotion was a €5 monthly discount on line rental for a year at a cost of €25. There was no longer any free call discounts.
Anybody else come across this cut back by PT.
I am still receiving numerous calls from PT trying to sell some services but I was assured My line was marked for "no Calls"

In Jan i enquired at the phone shop in Intermarche for any deals with broadband - I had a leaflet from TMN which showed a rate of ~€20/mth, which was associated with PT and included free house phone. Next day PTcalled me on my mobile and tried to sell me the deal - what the leaflet hadnt said was you needed to have a PT line as well at a cost ~€10/mth. I explained my "Holiday only residency" and she agreed it would not be worth while for me to have the service all the time. Since then I have received 3 more calls from them, in late Jan and then 2 in march offering the same deal!
