House name signs
House name signs
Has anyone got a recommendation for where we can go to get our new house name sign? I guess everyone has the tile version. Has anyone got anything different and if so what did you opt for? THANKS

We had ours made at Porches Pottery (the one with the restaurant/cafe - Bar Bacchus) when we first bought our place I was walking in the grounds and saw some really beautiful bee orchids growing, I took a photo of the flower and asked them to make a sign with this as the picture, the name is the Latin for Orchid, we were very, very pleased, now 9 years on it still looks as good as new.

That is great, thanks for that. Be bold Licy & go for the big neon sign on a 60 foot pole. That way we'll all know when you're at home !

There is also a great guy in Carvoeiro the last small turn on the right at the end of the out road, Joao Guerreiro who's wife is English and he speaks very good English too, he will pain you what you want, he is very good also.

It is the very last place on the out road before you join the two way road at the top, just past O Rafaiol you drive down a short turn off and it is on the right hand side, small but very good.

We've used them twice - and they're excellent. He also hand painted a wine cooler with my friend's house name on it for a special gift.
