When she's done there - she should get herself to Portugal and start with the ex-pat estate agents who appear to think that we are all 'stupid' and are legitimate targets for their haphazard 'service' delivery.
I genuinely believe their days are numbered with the internet playing a greater part in prospective clients locating property - who will eventually transact the purchase through an ethical on-line legal process for a fraction of the cost.

The market is changing and the internet is allowing prospective buyers access to a a wider selection of properties.
But readers should understand that it is illegal to set up an agency in Portugal unless you have the national lisence and qualifications.
Anyone can still show property.
You may see a property on Rightmove or many similar but you cannot buy through them all they can do is pass your details on to the agent who has paid to advertise on their site.
Also the information regarding costs of buying that you sometimes see on these sites should be taken only as a guide.
