We're looking for an extending dining table that will go from around 4ft to 5ft. Seen one in the UK but would prefer to buy in the Algarve if possible. Need at leats 4 chairs, preferrably 6.

We found when we were looking for furniture that the shops sold either good quality & really expensive or the other extreme at one point we even drove to IKEA in Seville to get a kitchen dining table but I can highly recommend Furniture World in Lagos, we have bought bedroom & dining room furniture from them & have been really pleased. It is Brit' owned. They even delivered to us free of charge right out in the sticks between Algoz & Messines, very helpful.

Exit the A22 at Odiaxere & head toward Lagos on the N125, it's on a trading estate that fronts the road on the left, next to the big bathroom place, which is also very good.

Yes furniture world is ok price wise AND they offer a UK-Portugal shipping service for customers if you want stuff sent out - once a week as I recall

If they are based in Lagos, why would they offer free UK-Pt shipping?

The website doesn't give any prices. I tend to equate that to restaurant menus that do the same.

I don't know about UK-PT shipping we alway use Direct Transport or Algarve Removals for that.

We didn't find the prices bad at all I don't know why they've not put any on their website.
If you want cheap & cheerful you can't go far wrong with Conforama, we've used the one at Guia for office furniture & it's been fine & they deliver & assemble.

We've just ordered the bedroom and living room furniture using Direct Transport to ship out. Just got the armchairs, sofabed and outside stuff to go. We'll get that locally.
