TERRAPIN LOOKING FOR FRIENDS

Found a Terrapin walking though my garden which doesn't appear to belong to any of my neighbours.

He is looking for a home with other terrapins, Any offers. I can deliver him.

I had the same thing,they must be on the march,i put my one in the pond at the entrance to Rocha Brava,he/she seemed delirious!

Can anyone advise on a very friendly RAT - it appeared this morning - wandering round the garden and comes up to us for a look and squeak - seems tame - surely it cant be wild? a typical brown rattus - rattus

We have removed a dead rat from our pool, and often see squashed ones on the roads and tracks.

They are just another part of life in Portugal.

A friend had their pool drained, the backwash flooded out the local rats, the owner was having a shower and saw a rat in the bathroom looking at her, Apparently her screams could be heard in Lisbon.

Be carefull with the terrapins/turtles . They bite.

There are a lot of terrapins in the Parque da Juventude in Portimao.
