Static Caravan
We have a plot of land near Monchique but after 3 years of stress we have given up on building a home there for the time being.
I was wondering if it is possible to put a static caravan on the land? Would we need planning permission and is it easy to purchase such a thing on the Algarve?

The rules in the Algarve regarding locating statics are strict. You will also need to check with the council regading your permission to build as this is time linited. It is possible that you can get permission to live in the static if you are building at the same time.
Check with the council. Don,t listen to those who will try and sell you a static and tell you that it is OK.
