Whilst I am sorry to hear of these peoples problems may I point out that I have no connection with this clinic and refer any surgical cases to the appropriate surgeon for a particular problem - all of whom operate in hospital operating theatres with full sterilisation and back-up facilities.

In general eye-care facilities in Portugal are as good as any in Europe even though in some cases it is necessary to go to Lisbon for treatment.
