Bayonet fitting light bulbs

Does anybody know if it is possible to buy light bulbs with bayonet fittings here in The Algarve and if so where, please?

Never seen them nor would I expect to as ES is the standard in Portugal.

You could try one of the shops that advertises imported English pies, tinned food, etc for sale. See the adverts in the News every week.

There used to be a lighting shop in Portimao old town, just near the church, and they sold bayonet lightbulbs, this was a couple of years back though, but worth a try eh ? good luck

i have some large bayonet fittings candle bulbs 40 watt and 60 watt if they are of any use

i think i have about 6 of each my son is in villa senhora da rocha you can go up there and get them if you want they come mostly from b and q i can arrange if you wish

Even in the UK many new lights have the Euro screw fitting maybe our bayonet fitting will fade away in the years ahead.
