Car Insurance for British registered car

We have just brought over a British Registered RHD car to use in Portugal so that we can sell our Portuguese registered car and then head back to the UK in the Brit car in January. We have UK insurance however, we only get 60 days of fully comp cover then it reverts to third party only. Does anyone know of any company that will give us additional insurance so that our car is covered fully comp. We could always cancel our UK insurance and buy Portuguese insurance if they would do it. Any help greatly appreciated.

The quote I got from Abbeygate was extremely expensive! and no it wasn't because of my driving It was still much cheaper to insure in the UK with a 90 day cover for the continent.

If you have a UK address - try SAGA - they will wipe the floor with Abbeygate - by £376 in our case.
