Hi All - Ive taken the plunge and bought a pt car! now where do we got for cheapo insurance - bearing in mind its 2 weeks every 8 for usage?

try your portugese bank , mine BPI did one really good deal

Ive tried the bank but nogo - I have now tried 3 others and are getting quotes of around €200-220 but that includes a 50% NCD - does anyone know if your uk NCD can be used for car insurance? anyone used a UK insurance company to insure their PT car?

found an insurance which gave a reasonable rate and cover - basically anyone with owners permission - €210 TPFT - anyone interested PM and I will give u the contact. Got good house insurance quote as well
