A word of warning to anyone buying from Conforama!
We bought a washing machine there 3 weeks ago and arranged for it to be delivered to our apartment in Carvoeiro. The machine is leaking and has never worked but Conforama has, as yet, failed to respond to almost daily phonecalls.

Sorry to hear that but my personal experience of Conforama is good.
Maybe you should make a personal visit rather than phoning.
The only thing I don't like about them is their policy to charge a fee for each seperate item delivered. If you buy a complete bed you get charged 4 times to cover the base, the spring, the headboard and the mattress!!!!!

We would have visited in person but have had to be in Lisbon and Porto and our management have been dealing with it we only found out today that machine wasn't working. We intended going there tomorrow but Conforama have rang to say they will be to apartment to look at machine tomorrow so we'll give them the opportunity to rectify matter. I am annoyed because we have clients in the apartment who have been without a washing machine

You can better buy in Lagoa.
A good place is Joaquim Jacob, Rua da Liberdade 70, 8400-369 Lagoa
He give you the same price as Conforama and a very good service.
