security deposit
Sue.
You must take atleast £100.00 deposit, for any breakages, loss, damage etc. Also do make sure you have a contract for each booking, and you vila manger checks out your place before returning the deposit. You may return the deposit by bank transfer but you need to advise clients that any bank charges will have to be paid by them. Your contract should be very precise, and have all the terms and conditions clearly agreed upon. Do not confirm the booking until you get contact agreed by email or hard copy. You will also need their fulll address, contact numbers, time. amd flight details of arrival. and departure for your vila manager to organise your place accordingly. You will need all th eclients details for tax return, and contract details in case there is tax audit from authorities.
Check in time is usuaLLY 14.00HRS. AND CHECK OUT TIME 11.00HRS. IN CASE YOU HAVE CHANGE OVER ON THE SAME DAY.
yOU CAN CHECK TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL AND RATES ETC ON HOLIDAY RENTAL SITES Like Holiday-Rentals.co.uk. It will also give you some idea of how much other people are charging, to help you work out your asking rental rates.
Hope this helps. If you need any help regarding contract etc. please PM me.
