Any ex-pats looking for light gardening work on the Arias Dos Whatsitsname, the garden is fairly small, no grass and has an irrigation system, which by the way seems to use an awful lot of water. At present the management company provide the gardener on contract and they suggested the irrigation system as a cost saver, Yes! I fell for it, it was supposed to cut down labour time and thereby save me paying proposed increased charges, well, they maintained their prices but I now pay much more overall with water charges than I would have if I had excepted the increase. I feel they put too much time in raking around, so I need to look at alternatives, hence the post. This site is great, wish I'd have found it years ago, I feel as if I've stepped out of the fog.
