Clubs/ interest groups

Hi,
I'd love to hear from anyone who runs or is a member of a sports/ outdoor club in the Algarve. The club could be anything from surfing to lawn bowls to birdwatching. I'm creating a directory of clubs on my website to help like minded people meet up and have fun. To list your club (for free) it must be aimed at residents (expats or Portuguese), meet regularly and only cost a few euros to join. Please reply here or send me a private message

Honestly- no,

it seems everyone in Carvoeiro is too busy enjoying the beautiful scenery and sunshine to be joining clubs! Or so they'd have me believe- if anyone knows differently please let me know it'd be good to be able to add more clubs in the west of the Algarve

I think the majority of the posters on this forum don't live in Carvoeiro, so don't actually take part in those sorts of activities.

I do live in Carvoeiro but I don't actually have the time for much with work and two small children. Have you posted on any other forums?

Thanks for your reply- I can't say much cos I don't live in Carvoeiro either (sadly) but I do live in the Algarve. I have posted on a few other forums and got some response. There is the start of a list at http://www.portugal-sport-and-adventure ... tugal.html but there's still more to add.
