Irish TV Stations from satellite

Does anyone know if you can get RTE TV3 TG4 from the satellite that you get the English Freeview channels without having to buy a card. I've been told it will be €13 a month for the card! Any ideas? I dont yet know the make of type of box I have.

Hi bjay, i,ve got one of those "BUY THE BOX AND THE REST IS FREE"jobs and all i can get are about fifty different bbc,s forty itv,s a couple of god stations and a handfull of pre 1970 film channels .I,m not complaining but in fairness you,ld be hard pressed to find a good nights viewing between the lot of them,,,o and eurosports.Sorry in answer to your question no we don,t get any of the rte,s

you will need to cotact a southern irish sky dealer for a subscription you will also need a sky branded satellite receiver
