Sky Dish

We are considering having a Sky dish fitted on the roof of our apartment (I already have a spare digibox and card) and I was wondering if anyone knows the e mail address/website of a dish installer in or near Cvo so that we can pre arrange a fitting for when we visit in two weeks..... Thanks

R J Technica, opposite Carvoeiro Bar on Restaurant hill, come highly recommended albeit I haven't had to use them (yet). I'm sure if you do a search on here you will find their number and get them warmed up before you arrive.

Would also recommend R.J.Tecnica, they're very helpful. You will also need them to perform the telephone link with Sky, since without this the box will not work (or so we were told). They have a piece of kit called a dialer, which enables them to perform the link.

The box will work without a telephone link. The only thing you cannot get is interactive.

If you give SKY a Portuguese phone number they will not connect you.
You need an English number for an English card

you can now have sky plus and hd without having to have a land line for the extra charge of £25 also now contracts can be completed over the phone you still need a uk address but its getting easier
