we recently had our pool drained to replace about 30 mosaic tiles, since it has been refilled there are many more tiles coming off in other areas anyone know why this should happen? and does anyone know a good company that could give us some advice?

We were told not to drain our pool as there is always the chance of the pressure being too great from the outside and cracking the pool/moving the tiles etc. Mind you don't know how else you are meant to be able to repair it if you don't...

If you drain a pool to repair tiles as we did last year then the repairer should "tap" each and every tile to see if they are sound. It's no good just repairing the broken or sharp ones. If the tile comes up with a hollow sound, it's had it. We replaced quite a few and no problems since and not expecting any. Cost 400 euros plus the water of course. It's never a good idea to drain as Lesley says but needs must and ours was done over two days.
