Plenty of return flights on ba.com Gatwick to Faro for £69 fully inclusive, lots available June and July. I think people have been put off by Euro 2004, bookings are down, now the reductions are kicking in. The BA prices are a special offer.

It is true that there are now plenty of cheap flights on BA but when I was planning my trip to CVO back in November ALL flights on BA were £200 each way! - i.e £1600 for my family of four, plus taxes. I guess that anyone that wanted to go away in June was therefore put off and has gone somewhere else. By the time BA reduced it's prices again (and I hope learned a lesson about 'cashing in') no doubt the early bookers had all gone somewhere else.

Sense has finally prevailed with BA but I fear that it is probably too late for villa owners with a very empty June.

I am looking for a villa close to the centre of town for the last two weeks of august 2005, within walking distance as we dont want a car. We want a villa that will sleep 9 people. I have tried many different villas but still no luck. Can anybody help. It looks like we will have to go to Lagos next year as we just cant find anything!
Thanks

Is it possible to stay in two apartments? - maybe the regulars could help on that?
Good luck Loretta
