Dont kid yourself we have used these guys countless times ...even on citycentre sites to locate water mains sewers and springs...never been wrong yet....remember finding the water isn,t always the trick ..its the depth of useable water and how much of it that can be the key...dont know why the problem they don,t charge that much.

my original question seems to have got lost between drillers and water diviners if it helps we are on a hill (the hole was not drilled at the lowest point on our property) could have been quite a bit lower we are about 3 miles from the sea so i don,t think salt water should be a problem the irrigation system covers 2 acres we have not yet had any shortage of water.

Well.Just thought I'd tell you how it finished.......The 'Driller' refused to use a 'Diviner' cause he said he knew it all....Drilled for 84 metres....found nothing ( Euro 600 ..gone)...went to the lowest point as I suggested in the first place.....!!!...Drilleed another 85 metres ...Gush ..Gush..Gush......found water...(Euro 2000).....Feel raped...yeh and it really pisses me off.........Oh well .....at least we have water....I think ????

Did you manage to get your lake dug out?
If not I could give you a quote, have a JCB 3CX also two tonne dumper, which would be very useful.
Nine months too late I expect, but worth a shout!
