Who nicked my pool?

It happened to us with no explanation.
Our water bill was €1200!! That was April 2013 and not happened since
Its a strange one!

When we were there end june/early july my pool had been overfilled - gardener had left the watering hose in when he went for lunch. It was just level with the top of the skimmer outlet - 10 days later it had dropped by ~ 110mm and we had been putting the cover on at night and only removing it about 11 in the morning. Had to leave it off during the last week as the pool was getting too hot with the roof solar mat heating.
