I was quoted over 10,000 Euros plus IVA :( to paint our 3 bedroomed villa, interior, exterior and swimming pool walls.

I thought it was very expensive so my wife and I decided to do it ourselves. It took us 16 days working 12 hour days (so that works out at about 30 euros an hour).

We also used good quality paint from Mistre Maco (Izzy). Can't remember how much we paid per 20 litre tin, but I do remember that the total cost was less than 1,000 Euros. :D :D :D

That was 2 years ago and the paint still looks fresh.

We also had the satisfaction of putting our own stamp on the villa so to speak. :D :D
