I would guess it depends on the amount of work to be done, mine cost last year 1,900.00 euros. i would ask for a price before you go ahead.

I used one of the companies on this thread, gave the lawyer Power of Attorney and he used it as a License to pass the builder €80,000 under the table ! No wonder I was told to use that lawyer by the estate agent !

Sorry I was miss leading you I have just dug out the invoice and it has other charges relating the sale of the property included on it. The will part was 600.

I paid around 150 euros for my will including all the signing and translating stuff (using Maria of LSA in the village). It was pretty simple though - only said that I left my son my house.

We have bought a property in February and we used Placido Santos & Associates. They were extremelly good. They did everything we needed and more! They can took care of transfering the utility bills for us and the direct debits, they did our wills and made sure we had all the taxes and licenses in order. Superb service.
