Omega Parque closing?

item in the resident online asks "are you disappointed that omega parque are closing?"

anyone anymore info?

I think that's its problem. It isn't well known enough. They should do more advertising. Its a zoo up Monchique where they look after rescued and endangered animals. Nice if you like that sort of thing.

Went there a couple of times..to walk off our heavy Sunday lunch. It was ok... Lack of paving, so if you had a child tired/asleep in a puchchair it was difficult to get round. It wasn't expensive, but needed investment to make it more of an attraction, and as prevously mentioned I never saw it advertised! Shame it is closing, Lagos Zoo is worth a visit! 8)

What a shame, we have driven past a couple of times, unfortunately never got round to going in.

yes its true..front page news in this weeks resident

seems to be a dispute about the local camara not allowing them to use land for car parking
