Internet in Colina Sol

Hello,

we are the owners of an appartment in Colina Sol in Carvoeiro and we would like to get a broadband internet connection in our apartment. However, we don't speak Portugese and I can't figure out which company I need to obtain the connection.

Can anybody help us ?

We have our connection through Sapo, and seems to be OK. If you only want intermitant use for emails etc, whist you are visiting, they do an excellent "pay as you go" service, which costs 25 euro to sign up. (It can be a bit expensive for surfing though).

Their web site (www.sapo.pt) is all portugese, but if you call 707 227 276 then 9 when you get the recorded massage, for english speaking, they will talk you through the options. I have found them most helpful.

I'm going to call them definitely. Probably you need an active phone connection to get ADSL or is that not nescessary ?

Do you maybe know if I can them from the Netherlands ? If I call them, I don't get a connection.
