How do we get rid of the lice on some of our trees? I prefer to do it on a 'friendly' way, so without using chemicals. Which gardener has the solution ?

If its bark lice DaGi (they leave a silky webbing) they will not do the tree any harm....they eat the fungus and other debris on the tree.

I don't think it's the bark lice, Ellie, because there is no silky webbing. The creatures are a. small and black in some of our trees and b. yellow and bigger in our oleander. I heard somebody sprayed the trees with water containing some Dreft or Lux (dishwashing).
