Pool Heaters

I know this subject has been raised before and I've just done a search on the subject but it looks like our pool heater may need replacing! Has anyone any upto date information on companies that could quote for this. I've been told roughly how much and only just recovered to write this! Any websites would be appreciated

So no replies then. Nobody has replaced pool heaters then. Am I the unlucky one that might have to then and noby ever has! No advice, no nothing. Thanks people, I know where to go next time and it won't be on this forum. Mike

Try Manuel at Piscinas Oceano (282 342772).He put our heatpump in for us ,neat job,on time,cheaper than another quote (we only got two).Nice bloke as well.

Dear Mike

You have been in the forum longer than I and I am sure you know that sometimes it takes a while for replies to come through. I, for example, have not visited the site for two months due to being in CVO and other family problems. Regarding the pool heater, we had ours replaced last year by SACL along the 125. As you say you need to be sitting down when you hear the cost but we found them excellent to deal with and their after service is very good. I am sure you will find their number in the directory. They have also done our Solar Panels and and Air Conditioning this year. Not cheap but we think we have been given a good deal and the knowledge of any comeback should we have problems. Thanks for the replies and in paticular HP's. We took the route that as the heater had been working very recently and all of a sudden stopped that being worn out was unlikely. After a strip down of the pump and a replaced bit (not sure which) plus re gassing, it is now in tip top condition. certainly a hell of a lot cheaper han a complete replacement which was nearly carried out. MC will be pleased he can swim at Xmas now.
