Terracos da Vigia , who knows about?

Post by tom10 »

Hello
Just around CVO at the moment, and saw ads for Terracos da Vigia on the trip train in town. Couldn't find the land, and they say it has a fabulous view...
prices from 180 k€?
Does anyone know about this new development in CVO?

thanks

Are those the places at Benagil? Thought I saw a sign for it at the mini roundabout at the top of the steep road down to Bengail beach, or am I thinking of another development?

no this one seems to be on the clifftop of CVO. on the right hand side when you look at the sea from the beach.

Sorry Tom. Yes, I think the ones I was thinking of are Terraços de Benagil. I am not a local Carvoeiro girl though, just an out of townie from the wilds of Silves. Have you tried searching the net for more info? I'll have a look too.

The kitchens will have granite worktops, dishwashers, washing machines...
If they put in anything other than Siemens, Bosch or Phillips, ask for a discount. The stuff they sometimes sell as high-end appliances look great, but they also tend to develop bugs 2 days after the guarantee expires. (if not sooner)

have spent an hour on the web for terracos da vigia. it is located on the clifftop of CVO, once you're at the top of the road coming from Sully's bar, then turn straight right, it's a cul de sac.
views from the land seems to be as fabulous as they say.

One thing strange is that they didn't mention anything on the land...

Anyway, they don't say about the appliances whether it's siemens, bosch or ...
What do you think of LG, does anyone have a bad experience?

I saw also the 3D of their building, and some of the townhouses have Spa on the roof !
your opinion on this new development?
i'll try to call the developpers some time and tell you.

bye

you're right
strange, but not impossible, with this view, they could think we would anyway spend the money.
need to talk to the developer :)

Hi guest
have finally talked to the developers, and got some good news;
First of all, sales haven't really began, and they told me that they would open the sales office in October.
They also gave me good news about the apartments, like Two bathrooms in the two bed apartments, which is not currently what they have on the web...they sais they are about to change that!
They have already sold 2 apartments out of 19, as they advertised sooner in The Sunday Business Post (irish paper), and are quite confidents with sales.
They say they have a fabulous view from every apartment, which i believe is true!
Barclays is financing the project, which may be indeed a positive sign.

however i'm still interested in your comments, because i want to buy in CVO, but only with a REAL sea view...

bye

Terracos da Vigia

Post by Richard&Babs »

We are purchasing a duplex unit to retire to towards the end of next year (2007), thus we have lots of questions regarding living in the Algarve. We would be very interested in contacting others who are also purchasing at Terracos da Vigia; the website is http://www.kuopio-investments.com/

Its certainly a fabulous position near town, and it seems that they are being kitted out with high spec fittings. See website at link in previous post.

However, at €445k for a two bed even with two bathrooms, its a hefty price to pay. I'm not suggesting its over priced, but its one of the highest Euro per square meter prices I've seen for apartments/town houses. As they say here, location, location and sea views....

Construction starts February 2006?

Post by Richard&Babs »

It would be reassuring if anybody could confirm whether construction/site clearance has started yet. The website and our information in January was that this was scheduled for February. Many thanks.

We returned from CVO a week ago and passed the site daily. Did not notice any activity, except that the sales office is now open every day.
