Wooden Houses

Does anyone know how warm these get inside in the summer?

Very hot, and then spontaneous compbustion kicks in. and you have a pile of ash and no log cabin. Don't got there. They look fine in candinavia or the Alps, but look pretty ugly in southern Europe.

Wooden houses can look like anything you want, so can fit in anywhere.
The suitability for a particular climate depends on how much insulation is used. Remember that a lot of American houses are wood framed and America gets both very hot and very cold. Look at these http://www.scandia-hus.co.uk/ designed for the UK.

Lagoa Council do not allow any kind of wooden houses for habitation

I was just curious as they seem to be getting more and more popular. And they are definitely a lot warmer than our old Portuguese house during the winter!

I was thinking though of lots of different possiblities for these,somewhere out in the country (being quite vague about it), not for me personally to live in.
Although I have to say I quite like them, and I do think you can do a lot with them. I think there's more to them than just looking like a garden shed.
