New Flooring

Post by Cadenza »

I am looking at replacing the old clay tiles in my little villa. My other half thinks we should lay the new on top of the old and raise doors to accommodate the rise in the floor. I am thinking of ripping the whole floor up and putting a new floor in. We don't have a huge budget, but I want to do it right. Has anyone any experience of having done either of these options? Does anyone have recommendations for someone to do the work who is reliable and will do the work when they say they will? I would also like to know the best place to go for sourcing tiles. Any help would be appreciated.
