A plea from a Mato Serrao resident,please,please.please. when approaching the blind corner on our road, please don't toot!! it drives us mad.
Here's a novel thought how about slowing down!!!

It might be an idea to get one of those convex mirrors placed on the corner, affords visibility around the corner.

We have the same problem outside our house, do not mind tooting during the day as better than crashes but usually no tooting at night as can see the lights of any cars coming round the corner.
Speed does not seem to be the problem its tucking in tight that is needed.

Tooting on country lanes really annoys me. The idiot tooters assume it's safe to drive faster because of their toots whereas other drivers rarely hear them due to windows bring shut with music playing Tractors being the worst case The tooting just really irritates people living on the lanes. You have my sympathy Jessi !
