We had a sales call from them a few days ago offering their new Meo Fibra high speed internet + TV + phone etc.
The sales agent spoke excellent English and once he had done a few checks informed us that they could not provide us with this package as our part of Carvoeiro is not connected to their Fibre optic cable network.
He said that there are parts of Carvoeiro with limited connections but at the moment there are no plans to extend the network to the rest of the area.
Apart from the benefits of better internet connections it does mean that watching UK TV via the internet should that need arise will be a very hit and miss affair for some time .

We had the same call, and the same outcome.
We can see heavy duty cables wound around several of the telephone poles near to our house, we have had a new plastic box fitted by PT to our garden wall, so the infrastructure is ready to be finished, but PT don't seem to want to do the final work.
It's so annoying when PT call you yet don't have the facts available.

I'm just renewing my listing on the villa rental site, line 3, "in one of the better areas of Carvoeiro with full PT/Meo cable wifi"
