Not sure where the original topic is but our SKY TV is still giving us UK channels according to Gary (he's there at the moment) I thought by now we would have lost it.

we brought our Sky + box down with us, Channel 5 is missing but all else is on ok

If your C5 is missing then it is likely that when the rest of the BBC/ITV channels move to the new sat in the autumn ( beling launched in July ) then they will be lost as well.
Your Sky subscription Channel reception will not change unless SKY also switches to the same broadcast footprint as will be used by the BBC/ITV. This is one of the unknowns.

we (well, mostly me ) enjoyed The Masters, F1 from Shanghai, live Baseball, & a couple of episodes of Elementary, can't say Ch 5 was missed that much

trying to think what if anything we'll miss if the Beeb & ITV go, & I can only think of Eggheads

oh, and the channel choice on our MEO cable is pretty crap, anyone have a decent local cable station down here?
