My husband and I called in to O Castelo today and met the owner, Jon. He gave us a guided tour of the place and it is beautiful. The views form the bedrooms right over the sea are stunning. Each room has access to a terrace where you can relax in the sun. There are two kitchens which guests can use to cook meals should they want to. The place is spotlessly clean and Jon obviously takes a real pride in his business. We have a place here In Carvoeiro and often have friends who want to come out to join us. I am sure a lot of forum members are in a similar position, so give Jon a call, his place is literally 2 minutes walk from the square. We will definitely be recommending it to our friends it is like a home from home.

I agree they have done a very good job transforing from the old Indian restaurant.

The only downside is the traffic noise from the road down to the square.
